Homecoming Festivities Planned at Cameron High School

Cameron High School Homecoming events begin Monday. Next week students will participate in grade-level competitions, themed dress-up days and a closing “Blue and Gold” celebration pep rally Friday afternoon.

“I can’t wait for spirit week,” says Freshmen Attendant Autumn Streight. “It’s always so much fun!”

Community Homecoming festivities will begin with the parade at 5:30 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018. Community members involved in this event include the Cameron Volunteer Fire Department, the Cameron Nursing Home and the American Legion. Cameron High School Homecoming King and Queen Candidates will also participate. Kickoff for the Homecoming game will be at 7:00 pm at Dragon Field, with the crowning of the King and Queen to take place during half-time.

This year, the court is made up of the following: Freshmen Attendant, Autumn Streight; Sophomore Attendant, Emma Whipkey and Junior Attendant, Hunter Janiszewski. Senior High King Candidates include: Andrew Ritchea, Trin Scott, Ty Hill, and Hayden Hoge. Queen Candidates include: Breana Boggs, Kaia Leasure, Kenzie Ross, and Tiara Bertrand. 2017 Homecoming Queen Katie Bayles will crown the new queen.
