Board of Education

Minutes 11-15-2007

The Marshall County Board of Education met in special session Thursday, November 15, 2007, 9:00 p.m., at the Offices of the Board of Education, all members having been notified of business to be considered.

Present were:  President Roger A. Lewicki; Vice President David L. Hall; Members Mary Ellen Komorowski, Lori E. Kestner, Thomas E. Gilbert, Jr.; Secretary Alfred N. Renzella; Members of the County Administrative Staff.

There were no delegations.

Motion by Vice President Hall and seconded by Mrs. Kestner that the Board approve Memorandum of Understanding between Marshall County Schools and Consolidation Coal Company/McElroy Coal Company concerning land acquisition and site preparation for the new Cameron High School and Field House.  Motion carried.

President Lewicki announced that there would be a special session Monday, November 26 (7:30 p.m.) at the Offices of the Board of Education.

 Motion by Mrs. Kestner and seconded by Mr. Gilbert, and carried that the meeting be adjourned.

 President Lewicki adjourned the meeting at 9:23 p.m.
