sent to Donna by Lynn Long regarding Bob's history: Charles (we called him Bob) passed away on September 22, 2009 at Heartland Lansing Nursing Home in Lansing, OH. He joined the Army right after high school, and retired with the rank of Sergeant Major. He served a total of 2-1/2 tours in Viet Nam. Since we lived in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area for so many years and raised a family there, Bob is buried in the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL. After our family grew up, Bob and I moved up here in 2003, so he could spend more time with his ailing mom, brother and sister. They have all passed away since our move, then Bob got ill and passed away. |
