The Accelerated Reader Program, published by Advantage
Learning, is encouraging our students to read more, to become better readers
and to enjoy reading. The students read books selected from the library
of Accelerated Reader books, take a computerized comprehension test when
finished reading a book, and are then rewarded for their achievement.
Students' names are posted on the cafeteria wall according to the number
of points earned. Prizes and trophies are awarded at a Spring assembly
(pictured above) to those earning points throughout the year.
