MATH DAY
Math Day is a yearly competition held for all
the schools in Marshall County. Fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students
participate from this school. The children compete in four areas:
written test, mental math exact answer, mental estimation, and measurement
estimation using both standard and metric units. Winners from the
county competition advance to a regional competition and from there, on
to the state competition held this year at Shephard College. Cameron
Elementary students are shown with their awards. Fourth grade students,
Sean and Cody (shown below) advanced to the regional competition.
