Dear Parent/Guardian:

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself 

as the new principal ofSand Hill Elementary. My name is Mrs.

Cindy McCutcheon. I am a former 4^th grade teacher from 

Sherrard Elementary. I have ten years of teaching experience 

in gradesK, 1, 3, and 4. I am looking forward to my responsibility 

as principal of Sand Hill. I have heard high regards for the

parents, staff, students, and community of Sand Hill Elementary.

Since my first encounters with the staff at Sand Hill, I can assure

you that your children are in the hands of the best. The staff 

has displayed hard work and dedication above and beyond the 

normal duty of their positions. My goal as principal is to provide 

each student a positive ,fun, learning experience throughout the 

academic year. We, the staff and I, will encourage each student

to work to his/her full potential. Safety of the students is a major 
concern of mine. Various policies are being implemented to ensure

the safety of all students. The revised school handbook is available

upon this website. Parent Communication is an important aspect 

of a child’s education. Please note that I can be reached for

questions and concerns at 547-5041. I am looking forward to my

experience here at Sand Hill Elementary and working with you 

and your children.
