MCS School Bus Mechanics Earn Regional Award

During the board of education meeting on Tuesday evening, Marshall County Schools BOE President John Miller presented the Marshall County Schools Transportation Department technicians with a certificate of recognition for winning the #1 defect rating in the northern region of West Virginia, as monitored by the state inspector.

The northern region is comprised of 11 counties. With 81 buses inspected, they had a defect rating of just .04. This is the second year in a row they earned the award.
